It might not be a good sign if you can’t find any information about the brand’s values and practices. I always look for established brands that clearly outline where they source their product and how they ensure it is of the highest quality.  

Sourcing practices.

You want to ensure the shilajit is sourced sustainably without damaging mountain ecosystems. I would avoid brands that use heavy machinery and do not care about nature. Reputable brands clearly state their sourcing location and sourcing.  

Fare trade:

With products sourced from third-world countries, we want to support brands that pay a fair wage to local people who risk their lives climbing very high in the mountains to harvest high-quality shilajit.
