The Best Yoga YouTube channels for all levels and needs

best yoga YouTube channels
Table Of Content

Here is my list of the best yoga YouTube channels that I like to watch and recommend to others. Of course, there are many other very good YouTube channels, but I love this list as all these Yoga YouTube Channels have something special and unique about them. From beginner to advanced, from Yin to somatic yoga, from simple workouts to wisdom-filled inner journeys, everyone should find a perfect channel from this list. The list is in no particular order, so make sure to look through all of it.

1. Yoga with Adriene

12.7M subscribers, 742 videos

Level: all levels

Kinds of Yoga: all kinds

USP: variety, sense of humour, Benji

Lets start with an OG of yoga YouTube channels. Adriene has been a YouTube yogi for 11 years, and you can feel how experienced she is. She has a huge array of different yoga videos, from relaxing to strength flows for every part of your body and mood. If you are just starting out, you can also find specific series like Yoga For Beginners and Foundations of Yoga.

Adriene is mindful of the breath and gives great vocal cues for when to inhale or exhale which is very beneficial for beginners. Some people might prefer fewer cues in yoga, but I find it very important to make sure I do all the poses correctly.

What makes Adriene so unique is not only her sense of humour but also, for dog lovers, her dog Benji.

2. Yoga with Kassandra

2.52M subscribers, 869 videos

Level: all levels

Kinds of Yoga: Yin & vinyasa

USP: variety, calming

In addition to her great yoga teaching, Kasandra is known for her calming voice and energy. Her page is focused more on Yin and vinyasa yoga videos with fewer vocal cues. Her lessons are without music, so if you find music distracting, you will love Kasandra’s lessons. Kassandra is another yogi veteran on YouTube with 10 years of posting experience, and you will find a variety of classes to choose from, from morning yoga to stretching and slow yoga classes.

3. Boho beautiful

2.95M subscribers,  616 videos

Level: from beginner and intermediate

Kinds of Yoga: yin, hatha, ashtanga, fitness, pilates, vegan food, guided meditation

USP: Beautiful nature locations, a channel by a husband and wife

Boho Beautiful is one of my personal favourite channels, and I have been following their journey for a very long time. I love their channel because its content is vast and very different, from meditation to slow yoga to abs workouts and pilates. I love Juliana’s smooth voice and if I like to do yoga with my partner, we choose lessons from her husband Mark as they are a bit more beginner-level.  As well as two different teachers, their videos stand out for beautiful locations from Kanada to Mexico to Costa Rica. Their videos are a bit more polished editing with beautiful backdrops are of the nature and voiceovers. I love that you can hear the sound of a jungle in most of their videos or very subtle and calming music. The nature backdrops and sounds make you feel more relaxed and ready for yoga practice.

If you would like to take Yoga seriously and plan and organise your Yoga practices, you can download the Boho Beautifull app. I have used it for a while and also reviewed it here.

4. Charlie Follows

594K subscribers,  745 videos

Level: intermediate to advanced

Kinds of Yoga: all kinds

USP: more advanced poses, beautiful locations

Set in different beautiful locations, Carlie’s practices will challenge you to push yourself, learn and try more advanced poses. I would choose Carlie’s videos if you have a good yoga foundation and want to test yourself a bit more. Expect to master crow, handstands, and other more advanced poses.

5. Devi Daly Yoga

30.1K subscribers,  268 videos

Level: beginner

Kinds of Yoga: mostly Yin yoga

USP: somatic yoga, fluid movement

If you are looking for more spiritual, healing, and fluid yoga, you will love the Devi Daily YouTube yoga channel. It is a great place to go if you have body aches and want to try somatic yoga for healing. You will not find fancy editing or difficult poses on Devi’s channel, it is all about relaxation, calm and flowy movement. On the Devi Daly yoga YouTube Channell is not about how yoga looks, but how yoga feels.

6. Megan MacCarthy

24.7K subscribers,  396 videos

Level: all levels

Kinds of Yoga: somatic yoga, meditations, breath work, Yin, Restorative classes, and gentle flow yoga

USP: Yoga focusing on healing

Megan’s page is focused on Somatic Yoga, a movement therapy that reduces physical discomfort and rewires the brain. I love this channel as I am trying to learn a bit more about somatic yoga to help with my neck pain. If you are willing and ready to go on a spiritual, healing journey, you should follow Megan MacCarthy’s yoga channel on YouTube.

7. Travis Eliot

431K subscribers, 435 videos

Level: all levels

Kinds of Yoga: yoga, meditation and daily wisdom

USP: unique look and feel, breathwork

If you look past the very high-production Westernised cult like intro, you will find some very good and unique practices on the Travis Eliot yoga YouTube channel. I find his practices a bit more unique and interesting, and I love learning new techniques and flows that I haven’t seen on YouTube yet. I find Travis Eliot’s channel a bit futuristic in the way the music and backdrops are used.  Travis records yoga classes whilst teaching with other people and also likes to record his classes topless, so it is definitely a marmite, but check it out to judge for yourself.

8. Cole Chance Yoga

63.6K subscribers, 374 videos

Level: intermediate/ advanced

Kinds of Yoga: a variety of classes with different styles, lengths

USP: deep conversations, quotes and explanations

Cole’s Yoga YouTube channel is very personal and challenges us to look deeper and analyse ourselves. It is for people who are looking not only for exercise but also for a mental journey and recovery. The channel has a very bohemian and chill look and feel. I love how Cole starts most of the practices by explaining yoga or quoting poets. If you like to gain flexibility but also wisdom from a YouTube yoga channel, make sure you give Cole Chance Yoga a follow.

9. Emir Flows

616 subscribers,  109 videos

Level: beginner to intermediate

Kinds of Yoga: Vinyasa and more

USP: men’s yoga, minimal voice ques

If you know what you are doing and like yoga with minimal voice cues, the Emir Flows yoga channel is for you. It’s a very new and small channel that focuses on men’s yoga that needs more recognition. I like the intro of each class, which has a speeded-up summary of what to expect from the class so you can preview it before committing your time to doing it.

10. Yoga with Tim

392K subscribers, 518 videos

Level: all levels

Kinds of Yoga: all kinds, breathwork

USP: straight-to-the-point yoga workouts, mobility, strength

Tim’s yoga practices are very calm, and straight to the point, focusing on body strengthening, flexibility and mobility workouts. You will love his channel if you are not interested in yoga philosophy or spirituality but want straight-to-the-point yoga workouts. In addition to yoga videos, you can also find helpful videos about breatwork and vagus nerve stimulation.

11. Jen Hilman

43.7K subscribers, 249 videos

Level: all levels

Kinds of Yoga: all kinds, massage ball yoga

USP: massage ball yoga , pose explanations

If you want to feel like you’re in the same room as your yoga instructor, Jen Hilman’s YouTube channel is perfect for you. Jen is great at guiding the practice and making sure you’re doing it right. Every class is filled with peace and a calming feeling.  I love her yoga videos with a massage ball, as they really help my back pain. This is a great Yogu YouTube channel if you want to start practising yoga but don’t know where to start, as Jen has multiple videos explaining different yoga poses and their techniques.

The channel is not very active lately, but there are a lot of older videos to learn from. I hope to see Jen Hilman posting new Yoga videos soon.
